A 22kg lighter engine head and electronic ignition improved performance, economy and sales on the I6 range, while minor trim alterations and “alloy head” badges identify the changes.
94kW/305Nm 4.1L I6 became the standard engine.
New standard features: air-con, power windows, fog lamps, AM/FM radio/cassette, remote control boot release.
Engine options: 84kW/230Nm 3.3L I6, 140kW/344Nm 4.9L V8, 194kW/415Nm 5.8L V8.
