A 22kg lighter engine head and electronic ignition improved performance, economy and sales on the I6 range, while minor trim alterations and “alloy head” badges identify the changes. 94kW 4.1L I6 became the standard engine.
Engine options: 84kW 3.3L I6, 140kW 4.9L V8, 194kW 5.8L V8 (not wagon).
