THE Accord has a keyless remote entry system. The ignition key pad provides a separate unlock button specifically for the boot. An engine immobiliser is activated when the ignition key is removed. When the key is inserted, a radio signal from the electronic control unit interrogates a transponder that allows the engine to be started if the key and the code agree.
