But the driver has to battle torque steer and recalcitrant gearchanges, and put up with glitches such as poor ground clearance and the atrocious stereo controls, and pay close to $50,000 for the privilege

There's no doubt that Mitsubishi has produced a stunning car in its first attempt at a true high-performance vehicle and the only hurdle we can see is the pricetag. At $48,990, the Ralliart Magna is far from cheap, but considering its performance, it could give the established family hot-rods their first taste of real competition
