Sydney show: Lexus debuts LS flagship

IF BLING gets you buzzing then the dazzling, fully chromed Lexus IS250 – purely a one-off concept for yesterday's Sydney motor show opening, we’re assured – is sure to please.

Lexus also showed the LS460 sedan ahead of its launch, which has been delayed until early next year. The LS460, and the longer-wheelbase LS600hL hybrid, will spearhead a new assault on the limousine market.



The LS600hL is billed as the world’s first upper-luxury petrol-electric hybrid and the world’s first V8 hybrid. Other ground-breaking hybrid vehicles in the RX400h and GS450h are also on display.
