Future models - Lexus - RZ - 600eLexus applies Special Edition touch to RZ 600eSpecial Edition RZ 600e F Sport Performance elevates the core strengths of Lexus’ BEV5 Jan 2026 By MATT BROGAN LEXUS has unveiled a Special Edition RZ 600e F Sport Performance variant it says expresses an emotionally engaging design and even sharper driving dynamics.
While pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed, it is known that the sporty battery electric SUV boasts an exclusive aerodynamics package, 20mm lowered suspension, enhanced motor output, and bolstered brake package that are expected to deliver a more agile experience at the ‘wheel.
Lexus says it has “reassessed” the battery output limits of the RZ 600e to obtain a maximum output of 313kW (+13kW) from the system as a whole.
The front and rear motors each output 167kW/268Nm, contributing to “emotionally exhilarating and smooth acceleration” the Japanese luxury car maker claims will accelerate the 2140kg vehicle from 0-100km/h in the same 4.4 seconds as the donor model.
With a 77kWh lithium-ion battery on board, the Special Edition RZ 600e F Sport Performance is said to travel up to 525km between charges.
Enhanced braking power arrives courtesy of 20-inch (508mm) brake rotors tucked inside matte back 21-inch Special Edition aluminium wheels made by acclaimed Japanese wheel manufacturer, Enkei.
Six piston callipers feature at the front, finished in blue and stamped with the Lexus logo. Lexus says it has tuned the braking and steer-by-wire steering inputs to provide a more interactive feel.
Larger wheel arch mouldings accommodate the package and are joined by stylistic additions including a carbon-fibre hood bulge, carbon-fibre aerodynamics bundle, carbon-fibre headlight bezels, carbon-fibre roof skin, and exclusive paint colours Black and Hakgin II with a clear matte finish, and Black and Neutrino Grey (optional, as featured on the RX 550e F Sport).
Moving inside, we find front seats crafted with an integrated foam moulding process Lexus says offers secure body support during sporty driving, while retaining expected everyday comfort levels.
The seats and door cards are upholstered in black F Sport Ultrasuede with contrasting Special Edition blue stitching – the driver’s side offering seat ventilation – while black and blue highlights are found across the dial-type transmission selector, instrument panel, and front cup holders.
Lexus is yet to advise if and/or when the Special Edition RZ 600e F Sport Performance might be available in local showrooms, how many will be built, or how it will be priced... Safe to say it will be dearer than the donor model which is available currently from $133,059 plus on-road costs.
