New Nissan Navara countdown commences

COMING SOON: The Mitsubishi Triton-based Navara will make its global debut next month.

Short video teases next-generation Nissan Navara ahead of November launch

16 Oct 2025

NISSAN has released a short video teasing the arrival of its all-new Navara light commercial utility, which will make its global debut on 19 November.

The video celebrates the Navara’s journey from 1986 to the present day, highlighting the model’s evolution from a simple workhorse, to “one of the country's most trusted and versatile pickup trucks”, says Nissan.

Arriving as part of Nissan’s Defy Ordinary campaign, the video is said to demonstrate how insights gathered over four decades have shaped the development of the new Navara, from understanding the unique demands of Australian conditions to recognising the evolving needs of modern families and businesses.

The Japanese importer has sold over 420,000 examples of the Navara in Australia over the four decades.

“For nearly 40 years, Navara has been writing its story alongside Australia’s own evolution,” said Nissan Oceania managing director Andrew Humberstone.

“Every generation has learned from the previous one, and every Australian customer has taught us something about what matters most in a ute.”
