New models - Alfa RomeoAlfa Romeo Tributo Italiano Special SeriesSpecial edition Alfa Romeo Giulia, Stelvio, Tonale lines now with more Italian flair6 Feb 2025 By MATT BROGAN ALFA ROMEO Australia has announced the launch of a limited Tributo Italiano Special Series across its Giulia, Stelvio, and Tonale model lines.
Set to “captivate enthusiasts with its exceptional design and performance”, the Tributo Italiano Special Series promises Alfa Romeo buyers styling and equipment highlights which “celebrate the brand’s rich Italian heritage, excellence, and sportiness”.
Externally, the Tributo Italiano Special Series combines the three iconic colours of the Italian flag (Montreal Green, Alfa White, and Alfa Red) with exterior enhancements including a two-tone livery with black roof, Italian flag mirror scalps, standard sunroof, bespoke body kit, red Brembo brake callipers, and alloy wheels ranging from 19- to 21 inches in diameter, depending on model.
Alfa White paint is a no-cost option, while Alfa Red attracts a $1990 price premium. Montreal Green is available as a $2500 option on the Tonale Tributo Italiano Special Series and $3095 on both the Giulia and Stevlio Tributo Italiano Special Series.
Inside, the Tributo Italiano Special Series trio feature new black leather-accented sports seats with red perforations, embroidered front headrests, and red stitching on the dashboard, seats and door panels. Alfa Romeo says these details “enhance the interior’s luxury and sportiness”.
Elsewhere, adaptive damping features as standard, Alfa Romeo saying the systems “adapt to driving conditions, offering a blend of performance and comfort”.
For the Tonale Tributo Italiano Special Series the system is a dual-stage valve arrangement, where on Giulia and Stelvio we find Alfa Romeo’s more advanced Synaptic Dynamic Control.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale Tributo Italiano Special Series (from $79,000 plus on-road costs) is available as a 208kW 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol plug-in hybrid, with both the Stelvio (from $88,450 + ORC) and Giulia (from $80,450 +ORC) Tributo Italiano Special Series powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine outputting 206kW.
Limited numbers of the trio are now available, Alfa Romeo Australia offering 20 Tonale, 26 Giulia, and 14 Stelvio Tributo Italiano Special Series locally from the first half of this year.
