New models - Bentley - ContinentalBentley Continental GTC Azure shimmers in SydneyNew gen’ four Bentleys launched with potent Performance Hybrid powertrain20 Nov 2025 JUST in time for summer, Bentley has launched its imposing Continental GTC Azure convertible perched aboard a superyacht cruising past Sydney Opera House. Pricing for the drop-top GTC starts from approximately $540,000 excluding on-road costs.
The shimmering event also served to announce the arrival Down Under of other fourth generation Bentleys, the Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible (GTC) and Flying Spur all now available with a new V8 High Performance Hybrid (HPH) powertrain.
The German-owned iconic British ultra luxury brand’s new HPH powertrain combines an “advanced” twin turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine and powerful electric motor to deliver a maximum power output of 500kW and a maximum torque output of 930Nm. An Ultra Performance Hybrid variant delivering over 560kW and 1000Nm is available in certain markets.
Bentley says this new HPH powertrain outperforms the previous generation W12 engine across all performance metrics, resulting in a 0-100km/h time of just 3.7 seconds in the Continental GT variant, 3.4 seconds in Ultra Performance Hybrid spec’.
V-Max for the HPH powertrain is 270km/h with the Ultra Performance Hybrid clocking 285km/h where applicable. An electric only driving range of up to 80km is available… at speeds up to 140km/h.
Dynamic highlights include an active 48-volt anti-roll system for stability, all-wheel steering for enhanced agility and manoeuvrability and adaptive all-wheel drive (excluding the RWD Supersport) that adjusts power distribution for optimal traction.
Bentley’s personal commissioning division, Mulliner, can create unique, bespoke features for Continental models.
The Sydney Harbour superyacht- borne GTC Azure is a step up on its GTC stablemate and is designed around ultimate comfort and wellbeing, featuring elegant design elements including a new gloss black matrix grille with bright chrome surround and vertical vanes, a new silver and bright machined 22-inch Azure-specific wheel design in addition to luxurious interior details such as the new 3D Harmony diamond quilting.
Its extensive specification includes so-called “Wellness” seating comprising open pore crown cut walnut veneer trim, Azure interior tread plates with illumination and contrast stitching on the leather upholstery.
The model ticks all the boxes with Bentley’s Touring, Comfort and Lighting spec packages also standard to “ensure a refined driving experience”.
“With its powerful performance, stunning design and exceptional craftsmanship, the new model range introduces a new dimension to Bentley's family of performance-focused daily supercars,” says Bentley.
The new Continental range is now available in Australia.
