New models - Citroen - C3 - PlurielPluriel goes driveawayCitroen puts a $29,990 driveaway price on its C3 Pluriel hatch/cabrio/ute for winter9 Jun 2006 CITROEN has taken the unusual step of introducing driveaway pricing for its four-in-one C3 Pluriel to, as it freely admits, "maintain demand for the convertible model during the winter". Previously priced at $31,990, the 1.6-litre C3 Pluriel with SensoDrive transmission is now available for $29,990 driveaway. The leather-trimmed Elegance version’s pricetag has also been trimmed by $2000, to $31,990, and is now also available for no extra on-road costs. Based on Citroen’s quaint C3 light hatch, Pluriel can morph from a two-door coupe with a large sunroof into a cabriolet, a completely roofless convertible or even a ute, courtesy of fully folding rear seats and a drop-down tailgate. Attracting a four-star Euro-NCAP safety rating, Pluriel comes standard with ABS, front and side airbags, power windows, remote central locking, alloy wheels, automatic wipers, automatic lights, climate control and a CD sound system.
