Re-Car founder Terry O’Hare leaves legacy in transport sector repair and maintenance19 Nov 2021 By NEIL DOWLING PROMINENT vehicle repair businessman, transport industry identity, property owner and jet-powered truck builder Terry O’Hare has died aged 87.
Mr O’Hare started the Re-Car Group in the backyard of his mother’s house in 1953 and took it to be one of Australia’s biggest and most successful truck repairers.
He also had a large and diverse business portfolio including the Anchorage Restaurant and Marina, Truck City, Citylink Property group and Seair Pacific.
