New models - Chevrolet - Corvette - StingrayCorvette range rationalised for MY26Prices increase by up to $26K as Chevrolet updates its Australian Corvette Stingray line-up16 Oct 2025 AUSTRALIAN pricing for the MY26 Chevrolet Corvette has increased sharply and the local line-up rationalised down from six variants to four with the disappearance of the convertible 2LT base model and apparent (unconfirmed) dropping of the performance-enhanced Z06.
The kick-off point is now $12K more for the 2LT coupe, now $193,990 excluding on-road costs with other Corvettes increasing by between $18K and $26K (see full pricing in table below).
All variants are now fitted with a three-screen dash layout including a 12.7-inch centre infotainment display, a 14-inch digital instrument panel and a dedicated 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen, all said to feature sharper colours, improved response, and expanded functionality than before.
The model is the first GMSV product in Australia with Chevrolet Connected Services, enabling over-the-air updates to various functions.
Its digital-heavy new dash layout is designed to deliver all key driving information at a glance, GMSV describing it as “embracing new technologies to drive innovation, streamline processes, and gain a competitive advantage”.
The auxiliary 6.6-inch screen to the right of the steering wheel conveys driving information relating to systems such as traction control modes – including a new ‘Pro’ setting that disables stability and traction control while leaving anti-lock brakes active – which can be selected using a one-touch switch beneath the auxiliary display.
Other cabin updates include a newly positioned Drive Mode selector positioned in line with the gear selector featuring altered display designs for Tour, Sport and Track modes and new animations with sharper graphics.
A wireless charging pad is positioned below the central screen complete with a cover to hold the phone in place.
“No stone was left unturned in improving the functionality of the Corvette cabin, even the volume control has been enlarged and is now lit at its base to improve visibility at night,” said importer GMSV.
“The climate controls have also been repositioned to allow for the inclusion of a passenger grab handle, which also adds a new USB-C port below it.
“Even the cup-holders have been updated, now with hand-wrapped inserts and ambient lighting, and with the iconic Corvette crossed flags at their base.”
Technology outside the cabin has also been revised with the ‘Enhanced Performance Data Recorder’ undergoing a user interface overhaul with features like side-by-side video analysis and “speed tips” coaching for real-time performance insights.
All MY26 Corvette variants get a version of the Performance display previously exclusive to the hybrid E-Ray featuring digital gauges and graphs for the driver to monitor various parameters.
The Connected Car Services suite has an eight-year complimentary “trial” period bringing Google-powered control to the cabin, and over-the-air updates.
Included in the service are Google Maps built-in, designed for the all-new multi-screen interior, Google Assistant with in-app, vehicle, and smart home commands, Google Play Store for app downloads and a new Chevrolet phone app with remote commands, vehicle diagnostics, vehicle location, and more.
Carryover drivetrains comprise a rear-wheel drive 369kW/637Nm 6.2-litre petrol V8 or an all-wheel drive hybrid with a 6.2-litre petrol V8 and integrated electric traction motor developing a combined 488kW/806Nm.
The MY26 Corvette is available in coupe configuration in 2LT, coupe and convertible in 3LT spec, and coupe-only E-Ray.
No performance-enhanced 475kW/595Nm 5.5-litre Z06 is yet listed in the MY26 Corvette price schedule.
All have eight-speed dual-clutch transmissions with the LTs capable of a 0-100km/h sprint in 3.4 seconds and the E-Ray 2.9 seconds.
“When it comes to updating a vehicle as iconic and revered as the Corvette, the recipe is clear – improve the experience for the driver and passenger without ever detracting, or distracting, from the drive experience,” said General Motors Australia and New Zealand managing director Jess Bala.
“The 2026 Corvette range perfects the brief, with new driver-focused technology, a reimagined cabin experience, and the introduction of Chevrolet Connected Services all joining the most pure and exhilarating driving experience available today.”
